2012 Suzuki DL650AL V Strom

I used to say that if I could fill the showroom with Suzuki V Strom’s, BMW F800’s and R1200GS’s, I would have the perfect business. All great bikes and everyone wanted one. Well, we get a good selection of BMW’s that cross the floor, but nice V Stroms have been tougher to come by. And now we have this 2012 DL650AL that just came in.
The first DL650 was first sold new in 2004 and by 2012, they had refined the drivetrain and handling, adding ABS to the mix and upgrading the styling. The engine is the V-Twin 645cc that has been in all sorts of Suzuki bikes and proven itself pretty bullet-proof, even when road raced. In 2012, fuel mileage was up about 10% and vibration reduced from the motor. All and all, a great bike that has been refined and improved over the years, making it a huge value for all types of riders, especially slightly used.
Our bike has the Givi Bags and mounts which includes a rear rack that accepts one of the bags as tail trunk. Givi also supplied the after market windscreen which is higher and offers more protection. There is a Garmin GPS and helmet lock installed on the handle bars. Oil was just changed the both tires barely show any wear.
