It was great to get this 2014 Honda CB500F in to sell. Last spring I got to spent two days at Streets of Willow wringing the neck on one these great bikes and loved it. Not too much get up and go on the straight, but good brakes, predicable handling with no serious character flaws when pushed past its prudent limits. It was hoot. And it got great fuel mileage!
Our bike comes from a local Credit Union who is dealing with a voluntary recovery. Not all great plans have a happy ending and this is one of those moments. Looking the bike over it is apparent that someone loved the bike. There almost new tires mounted, clean oil in the crankcase and Shorty Levers installed. I got a chance to ride the bike and everything worked well and as expected. Cosmetically, the left side has signs of tipping over at what must have been a standstill, possibly the side stand not being fully extended. The case cover has marks as does the handle bar end and clutch lever. They are all superficial, but there they are.
