In 2000, American Honda was the main sponsor of Reg Pridmore’s CLASS Motorcycle Safety Schools and as such, supplies a fleet of late model Honda’s for Reg to use as control bikes and to demonstrate the techniques and riding skills he taught. About half the bikes were used for that purpose, the rest were sold to students and instructors. This particular bike was slightly modified with the forks upgraded, an Eibach Rear Spring and a Power Commander plugged in. It was sold to a student, a retired FAA Inspector, who taught MSF Classes in the Montana area. His plan for the bike was to make it a long distance touring Sportbike and a set of Givi Bags and mounts was ordered. Within a short time, he found that the riding position did not suit him and that his knees because an issue after extended seat time. The bike sat. It was properly prepped for storage, fuel stabilized and tank filled on a battery tender.

The bike has come back for round two with an additional 381 miles from when we sold it previously. It is still in the exact same order as when we delivered it previously. The issue was that a week after buying our VFR, we sold the owner a 2012 R1200GS and that is all he has ridden since.

Everything is up to snuff. I rode the bike and all of the memories of that great sounding engine came back along with the stable and inspiring handling the bikes were know for. What a great motorcycle. The Givi Bags and Mounts are still in the boxes as seen in the images. The bike is ready for some great riding.
