Once again, a bike rolls in that leaves you scratching your head in wonder. How and why does a motorcycle sell new and then is never ridden? How about two of them?

The CT70 model was built by Honda from 1969 until 1994 with a break between 1982 and 1991. An interesting note was the original model name DAX which came from the shape of the frame which was similar in shape to a Dachshund.

Top speed was about 45mph and dry weight was about 153#’s. There is a four speed manual transmission. The big difference for models after 1991 was a new seat, new shocks, white wheel rims, a newly reconfigured speedometer and meeting current Fed emission control standards for street motorcycles.

The owner of these bikes bought both for a lake house in Missouri decades ago he never closed escrow on. The bikes were shipped cross country a total of two times without a mile being added to the odometer. After moving to Southern Oregon, the bikes were set aside and never run. We have installed new batteries, new fuel and changed the crankcase oil before staring them.

The selling price for this motorcycle is $3,695. VIN# JH2DB0100PK200151 and miles are 288.
