2014 Honda NC700X
Price: $4695 USD - PREVIOUSLY SOLD
Let’s get past this right away. The 2014 Honda NC700X was never intended for a seasoned, jaded rider who has been riding since Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. It was intended to provide comfort, technology and the world of motorcycle riding to those entering this world or someone who is not enamored with the latest, fastest, over chromed 200 mph feat of engineering being pushed in the motorcycle press at the moment. It was to bring enjoyment less the intimation factor to riders who want a chance to love riding without being scared out of their wits by power, weight and one finger braking.
The NC700X almost has the look of an Adventure Bike and I am sure that it could tackle a few graveled roads, but its main mission is the world of asphalt where it combines great fuel mileage at a posted 73mpg and a low seat height that will leave shorter legs and newer riders comfortable at slower speeds. It has Honda’s under stressed 670cc Twin with a low 6200rpm to reach maximum horsepower. At first I thought these bikes might bring on the yawn effect, but I have ridden them before and they are a hoot. Nothing threatening in the braking or power department, just fun running it assertively. The best part was putting my helmet in the space you would think a gas tank would belong when I parked downtown on G Street for lunch. Jerry replaced the stock windscreen with a taller unit, the stock windscreen is in the tank area along with a sheep skin seat cover.
This particular bike was bought by a long time rider who we have sold half a dozen low mileage bikes for over the years. He is on a constant search for the perfect bike and thought this was it. In fact, he bought two. One was with the CVT Transmission and the other with the manual gear change. He decided that the CVT model suited him better and we have his other bike for sale now. It has basically the break in miles at 1,999 miles.
The motorcycle does not have a CARB sticker for California buyers.
The selling price is $4,695 and the VIN# JH2RC6300EK001133. For other interesting bikes and collectable vehicles, visit our web site http://www.automaniagp.com 541 479 8888 or come by and see us at 895 SE Gladiola Drive, Grants Pass, Oregon, 97526. Oregon Dealer DA1287.
