I pulled this blurb from the Honda description of the 2018 Goldwing. It is almost poetic though I would like to mention our bike has the optional DCT Automatic Transmission.

Wow. I have to assume you are “Goldwing” literate to have read this far and know about the latest and greatest of the 2018 1800 models. Three things I want to add though. 1. Our Goldwing has the DCT Automatic Transmission. 2. Our bike has 1,163 miles on it. 3. If you have not looked at the steering head on one of these, you are really missing out on an engineering marvel. Being a confessed gearhead, it is the most interesting part of the bike as far as I am concerned.
Our bike was purchased from a dealer in North Carolina and shipped to our seller new. It has had the first oil change done locally but nothing else has been required. It has been parked mostly as can be seen in the 1,163 miles from new. While under a bike cover, the owner’s cat found the driver’s seat area attractive as you see in the images and left some marks. My own personal experiences with the stock seat have not been great, almost everyone replaces it with something a lot better. The cat just gave the next owner another reason to upgrade.
