Bringing in this 2014 Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak Edition to the shop opened up the way back window. Well, not that far back, about three years ago when Hansen’s BMW was also the Southern Oregon Ducati dealer. In fact the only one between Eugene and Sacramento. Hansen’s offered the type of rider support Ducati could only dream of and here again is my chance to mention once again the harm caused to their customer base by closing the franchise. Back to the bike. Stock this included ‘S’ Equipment, including adjustable Bosch 9ME ABS, Ducati Traction Control, a new design of LED Headlight and the Electronically adjustable Skyhook Suspension System. The engine was the evolving Testastretta 11° DS, at 1,198cc with liquid cooling, chain drive feed by a 5.3-gallon fuel tank. Hard Bags and Heated Grips were standard and it was the perfect Hooligan Touring Bike. Our customer added a couple of necessary items, a Bags-Connection Tank Bag, soft bags inserts for the Hard Cases, Termignoni Muffler, Touring Windscreen, keeping all of the stock parts safely boxed for the future. Also included are all of the “special” keys, owner’s manuals and all the Ducati paraphernalia that comes new with bike at delivery.
