I took these images and the true color of the truck is not as faded or light as they show it to be. It is a much darker blue with beautiful pearl showing in the sunlight. I have filters coming for the camera and will take these again as soon as I can. The truck's paint color is one of it's best features again, best seen in person.

This 1960 Chevrolet Apache C10 came from a local consigner that bought it finished about eight years ago. He saw the truck and fell in love with the blue color and the way he was able to drive it. Years of shows and Rod Runs later, medical issues have arrived that prevent the truck from being driven, spending the past few years in the garage instead of being driven.

What the owner could tell me was that the 350 Crate Motor was installed at the same time as a “Corvette Transmission” when the truck was built. Disk Brakes came with the Camaro Front Clip that was installed including Independent Front Suspension. There was no information on the Rear Axle, but you can see in the bed it has been lightly tubbed for clearance of the rear tires. At the same time as the other body work had been done, the stock Apache Hood was replaced with a Chevrolet item. It was done for cosmetic reasons he was told, the previous owner did not like the look the Apache stock unit.

I drove the truck to the detail shop and to shoot images and if the truck looks great, it drives just as well. The motor is strong and transmission smooth allowing brisk acceleration and better than expected shifting. The Disk Brakes are really good and allowing the whole package to be driven without fuss or wandering. Before dropping the truck off to be sold, the owner drove from Brookings, Oregon to Grants Pass, a distance of just under 100 miles without an issue. Upon arriving, the only complaint was that he was now selling the truck because of his failing sight.

There is not much more to that can be said about the truck. The paint is great, looks better in the sun. It has a minor bubble in the paint on the driver’s door bottom corner and there are one or two touch up spots. Not too bad for decade old paint.

The selling price is $21,695. The VIN# is 0C143010220 and miles showing are 17,329. Please come by and see it at Automania LLC, 895 SE Gladiola Drive, Grants Pass, OR 97527. http://www.automaniagp.com 541 479 8888 Oregon Dealer DA1287.
