1998 Chevrolet CE Convertible Lingenfelter Twin Turbo

In 1998 LP purchased this C5 Corvette from our local Grants Pass, Oregon Chevrolet dealer for $45,869 (included with the car is the window sticker). The car came equipped with an Automatic Transmission, the Dual Zone AC, 6 way Power Seats, CD player and Fog lamps. Being the sort of person that loved excesses, the car was delivered to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering in 2000 and their Stage 1 Twin Turbo Package was installed for a mere $26,670, producing 500 HP and 500 Pounds of Torque. Included with the package was the 3:42 rear end up grade. Shortly there after LP saw the 1953 50th Commemorative Edition (50th CE) conversion and fell in love. The car was shipped to Advanced Automotive Technologies (AAT) in 2005 and the car was transformed into 50th CE #105, the first car converted by them to have the Twin Turbo Lingenfelter engine, for $32,500. This all adds up to $105,000. During this entire time, the total mileage accumulated on the car has been just under 21,900 miles. The car was part of much larger collection that was serviced and detailed regularly regardless of annual use.
Times and priorities change and LP has decided to sell the car and move on with other interests. The car has been driven but is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical shape and the service records are available from Jim Siegel Chevrolet here in Grants Pass. The car is listed on web sites and we have bulletins, brochures and receipts for the work done over the years. The car was here at our shop for ten minutes before we had folks stopping by to take pictures. I drove the car and can tell you that in all of my years of experiencing the best of the best, this is the first car that absolutely had my full attention when the loud pedal is pressed to the floor. My twenty minutes going to Rogue River and back will stay with me for ever. Paul has rightfully hidden the keys.
