2001 Volkswagen Eurovan Westfalia Weekender

One of our very long time customers purchased this 2001 Volkswagen Eurovan Westfalia Weekender new in Oregon. As with everything else he owned, it was keep inside the shop when not in use. Because of the limited amount of space for extended trips, a larger motor home was purchased and the VW saw little use, collecting just 54,362 miles from new. A move to a smaller home and the loss of a huge shop brings the van up for sale.
The Weekender was different from the Camper in that it had some basic features like a small cooler box but no cooking arrangements or cabinet storage. The Pop-Up Roof allows for 7 feet of headroom when the bed is raised and available seating for the passengers when the bed is in place above. There are sliding windows all around with flaps for ventilation in the canvas sides of the Pop-Top. Seating for 6 plus the driver is comfortable with 2 seats in the rear facing position.
The drive train is 170 cubic inch V-6 and for 2001, a 4 Speed Overdrive Automatic transmission and Power Steering. It was rated at over 4000 pounds towing capacity (as long as the trailer has its own braking system) along with Traction Control and ABS Brakes. The exterior color is Arctic White.
The interior, in Grey Velour, has Heated Front Seats, AC, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power and Heated Outside Mirrors, Removable 3 Person Rear Seat which Converts to an additional bed. Cosmetically, the interior and exterior barely show any signs of use with previous service records included with the sale. Tires look to be in excellent condition with at 80% life showing.
