My buddy Dave is at it again, buying multiple boats as he learns what he wants and does not need. After eight or nine boats bought and sold, he knew what it was he was after. Taking the cold water plunge, he bought a brand new 2018 Klamath 16’ Explorer loaded on an Ezloader Adjustable Boat trailer with a brand new Yamaha 40HP FI motor. A couple of nick knacks and he was set. He ran it at Galesville for an hour, hauled it back home and put it in the shop to wait for his winter vacation.

Until he found a used 20’ footer with no engine and then spent his way into making it perfect, spending almost as much on it as he did buying the Klamath new. Not to be resting on his laurels, he took off for his month long fishing trip south, returning saying he needed a longer boat and he was still looking.

Which brings us to the Klamath Explorer 16’ he asked us to sell. One hour. That is all it has been run. The titles are issued for the boat and trailer, he bought a cover for it (which comes with it). All for about $6,000 less than new. One hour.
