This 1996 Ford F450 4x4 Boom-Truck was being used to help limb trees and I thought it would be a great tool to have around the shop, so I bought it. I have rarely been so wrong about anything. Quickly forgetting my extreme fear of heights I wrote the check about 2 months ago. I used it once and required clean laundry. It worked just fine, just not with me in the bucket again.
It is not cosmetically brand new by any stretch of the imagination, but it gets to where it is going, stops and the boom works. And it is not a small fortune. I do not know much about operating it. It starts, it stops and it shifts gears. Tires are in good shape, the 4x4 works. The heater works. The hydraulic pump is noisy, but it works well.
