A local, long time resident of Grants Pass came up with a project car and a story. The car was purchased new by his father in 1969 and passed to his son when the time came. It was driven for a bit and about 10 years ago taken to a friend of the family that does body work on the side.

Ten years later at about a $1000 a year, the shop notified the owner that it was not going to get finished and that it needed to be picked up. It had been disassembled and boxed and the guy was really sorry, but it was not going to go any further. By this time, severe medical issues have arisen and the owner is unable to do any of the work required. He cannot lift anything and it is fair to say, there is a lot of lifting going to be needed to get the car back on the road.

There is a list he provided which is part of the images showing about $5,700 dollars in new parts plus the over $10,000 he spent with the family friend body shop. There are also a lot parts that were bead blasted and refinished in the many tubs seen in the images. There was just too much stuff to take adequate images.
