1993 Nissan Skyline GT-R
Price: $34,695 USD - PREVIOUSLY SOLD
Older generations of “Gear Heads” who know everything such as myself, resent enthusiastic younger millennial types, possibly more talented, smarter and more importantly better informed passionate car guys who turn up with something us oldsters know nothing about. Case in point, this 1993 Skyline GT-R. I am honestly caught out, flat footed and amazed.
And this AWD thing is a ROCKET. When it came in I drove it down the street and was shocked by the velocity and pull that I swear was stronger than the 2002 Porsche Twin Turbo we sold not too long ago. There is nothing striking about the way the car looks and it says NISSAN on the back. What the hell just happened? Made me feel like I had been living under that rock, completely unaware.
It maybe that I am the last one to be considered an expert on GT-R’s but I did get this from our seller. The car was imported from Japan in February of 2018 and he is the first US owner. We have all of the import documentation which will be listed on the site under the images. Recent service work included replacement of Exhaust and Turbo gaskets, Timing Belt replacement, replacement of worn Axle CV Boots, sealing of the Differential Cover, a new Aluminum Radiator, Hoses, Water Pump and accessory Drive Belts. Normal service items were attended to, Spark Plugs, Crankcase Oil and Filter, Transmission Fluid, Air Filter and the rear Differential Fluid was changed. Looking the car over, it is the stock color, Red Pearl (AH3), but it appears to have painted at some point with all of the glass and trim off. You can’t tell looking at the rubber around the doors and windows, but the paint is in too good of order and not the same as a factory application.
The engine is the 3 Series model (RB26DETT) with the upgraded oil pump collar. The A/C works as expected and blows cold. The HICAS 4 Wheel Steering is intact and operational. Minor modifications are a Nismo Downpipe, HKS Adjustable Coil Over Shocks, HKS Exhaust, Nardi-Personal Leather Steering Wheel and a Kenwood “Bluetooth Stereo System. A full set of Konig 17” Wheels with Hankook Ventus EVO2 Tires were installed, but the stock 16" wheels come with the car. The personalized Oregon Plates do not come with it, they are for display purpose only.
The selling price is $34,695 and the VIN# BNR3200912. Miles are in kilometers and I was told the speedometer was replaced, so we selling the car with miles unknown.
