Our buddy, “Camper Dave”, got this bug in his bonnet to go travel camping last year and bought what he thought was the perfect Travel Trailer, this beautiful 2012 Monaco Trail Sport R-Vision TS-19E. Dave wanted something that was relatively short, light to tow, but had lots of sleeping area and full amenities.

The first thing I noticed entering the Trailer was the quality of the finish and fittings. Over the years we have seen a lot of trailers come and go, this Monaco really is nice inside. The stove and refrigerator are a better grade than we have seen and paneling and cabinets are really good. There is a full size Refrigerator, Roof Air and a Full Bathroom with a Shower that will fit real human beings. The part that Dave like about the Trailer was both ends opening up to increase the living area. There are Beds in each end with it opened up, letting the overall length of the Trailer be shorter when stowed. The Model number lists it as being just 19 feet.

Being Dave, something new and different is always around the corner. He wanted to carry his Motorcycle inside while he was traveling instead of in the bed of his truck, so a Toy Hauler was found. He took the Monaco to a local dealer to sell but found they were “asking a bit more” than expected and it did not sell. There is an image of the previous sales tag for reference.
